MEET THE FAMILY

DAD AND MOM

Kevin and Shellie both grew up in San Diego, Kevin inland, and Shellie coastal.

They started their first farm in El Cajon and raised their 6 children there until 2009 when they moved north to Riverside county.

Kevin's favorites on the farm are the Scottish Highland Cattle & the horses.

Shellie's favorites on the farm are the chickens and goats.

Their favorites overall?  Gabriella, Ian, Isabella, Annabella, Sebastian & Atticus

SEBASTIAN

If you have had the pleasure of stopping by our pop up farm stand - no doubt you have received a hug from Sebastian! We are so fortunate to never have an empty nest. Sebastian is our "forever buddy" and is a great ambassador for the Down syndrome community. He is a huge help with the farm. His love and care for the animals is crucial to their socialization and docile manner. He especially enjoys selling at the farm stand and helping with our porch decor services.

GABRIELLA

Gabriella is the oldest of the 6 children and set the standard high for her siblings. Gabriella is our cow girl. She got her first cows in middle school and never looked back. Gabriella's love of cows took her to Ohio, where she married retired veteran and cattle rancher, Jeremiah. Ohio was pretty cold for this SoCal girl, so they moved their operations to Kentucky. They expanded their livestock company, Bluegrass Land and Cattle, while expanding their family to 2 beautiful girls and 2 adorable boys at the same time.  We wish they would come back to California, but they are doing great just where they are.

IAN

Ian is the next oldest and is our beekeeper!  Ian worked for our dirt work and excavation company while building his bee business on the side.  After many years of looong days, he finally built his bee pollination business, Ian's Bees, to the point where he was doing the bees full time. He then met and married his beautiful wife, Jenny, and she propelled them to their next level with the honey and candle company, Buzz and Bloom Honey. While growing the bee business they also grew their family. They have 4 amazing kiddos total -  2 boys and 2 girls and all live in the Temecula area.

ISABELLA

Isabella is our horse girl. From the time she could walk, she was out the front door, stacking milk crates, to climb on top what ever horse was available. That love of horses led her to Kentucky the minute she graduated high school. There in Kentucky, she met her other love, Ryan!  Though they have enjoyed their homesteading life in Kentucky, they are returning to California with their 3 beautiful boys and will be joining our farm efforts here. Isabella has really honed her MAHA baking skills - so get ready for yummy treats to be part of our offerings soon!

ANNABELLA

Annabella is our adventurous one.  Her love of new places and dogs is unsurpassed. Work took her to Virginia for a few years, but now she is back and learning the agri-tourism trade at a ranch in the Temecula area. Always up for a challenge, she will help with bees, cows, and then come in a do some flower arranging. I am sure when Isabella returns, the dynamic duo will have fun creating new things for the farm and helping with the new 20 acres.  We can't wait to see what adventure she is on next.

ATTICUS

Atticus is the baby of the family (shhhhh - don't tell him that, but "baby" sounds better than "last"). He has always jumped right in a done what needs to get done. Shearing sheep, getting the loose cows back in the pen, or being the cat whisperer - whatever he does, he does it well and with a great attitude. Though he is working primarily for the dirt work and excavation side of the family business, he always has time to help at on the farm. Since he is Gen Z - we are trying to recruit him and Annabella to do the "social media" side of the farm because mom and dad have no time (or patience) for that!

OH, WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG
